1. Information we collect

You can begin using SilaFit as a guest. We create a random per-install device identifier so the app can maintain your session. If you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, authentication provider, and account identifiers.

To personalize fitness and nutrition features, SilaFit processes information you provide, including age, gender, height, bodyweight, fitness goals, training experience and preferences, workout plans, exercises, sets, repetitions, weight lifted, meal logs, calorie and macronutrient targets, hydration entries, streaks, and progress history.

We also process notification preferences, device push tokens, time zone, app interactions needed to deliver reminders, subscription status, and basic technical information required to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

2. How we use information

• Provide workout tracking, training plans, meal planning, progress insights, reminders, and account synchronization.
• Calculate fitness and nutrition targets and generate personalized summaries and recommendations.
• Authenticate users, protect accounts, prevent abuse, and maintain service reliability.
• Process subscriptions and determine access to paid features.
• Respond to support, privacy, and legal requests.

SilaFit does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

3. AI-assisted features

Some paid features may use an AI service to generate training or nutrition summaries and recommendations. We send only the information needed to generate the requested result. AI-generated information can be incomplete or inaccurate and is provided for general fitness guidance, not medical diagnosis or treatment.

4. When information is shared

We share information only as needed with service providers that help us run SilaFit, such as hosting, authentication, email delivery, push notifications, payment processing, and AI-processing providers. These providers process information on our behalf subject to their contractual and legal obligations.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transaction where appropriate safeguards apply.

5. Storage, security, and retention

SilaFit uses encrypted network connections for production traffic and platform-provided secure storage for credentials on your device. We apply technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain legitimate business records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it where reasonably possible.

6. Your choices and rights

You can change workout-reminder preferences in the app and notification permission in iOS Settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information.

To make a request, email privacy@sila.fitness from the address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.

7. Children

SilaFit is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

8. Health and fitness notice

SilaFit is a general fitness and nutrition tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing an exercise or nutrition program, especially if you have a medical condition or injury.

9. International processing

Your information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy to reflect changes to SilaFit or applicable law. We will post the revised policy here and update its effective date.
